What a great night at Victory last night! “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed; We are perplexed, but not driven to despair; We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God; We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. ”         2 Corinthians 4:8-10                                                                                                                 Yes we are hard pressed but THANK JESUS we are not alone. He is there in the midst holding us up and protecting us from being crushed!

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
