The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer
There’s nothing more powerful than the prayers of faithful believers. Wednesday night Conley and I clinched hands as he asked the faithful seekers of the church to pray over us. Some were strangers, others we had spoken to a time or two, I must say I was very humbled. We ask that they pray for clear direction, that we could take off running in the perfect will of God. After the prayers had ended, while tears streamed down my face, the body of Christ came up to us and continued to encourage us. They had such love for people they hardly knew.  Friday night we had break through.
Hallelujah!! Thank you Lord!
It’s been a long time a coming!

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” - James 5:16

Verse of the Week

Romans 8:26-28 Message

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
